Two of our most popular destinations for the coming year are The Eden Project, which has bee a favourite for the last few years and needs no introduction, and Mondo Verde in South Limburg, Holland.

Mondo Verde (Green World) was the brainchild of the Lord of Strijthagen who recorded his impressions of the most beautiful gardens and buildings he visited on his travels around the world. His drawings and sketches, only recently discovered after many years, were used to recreate gardens from such places as Sissinghurst and Hidcote in England and Le Jardin de Claude Monet in France. Millions of flowers, plants and trees (more than 5,000 different varieties) make the park true to its name. The statue of the giant of the Apennines at a height of 14 metres is completely amazing to see. You also have the world's most comprehensive collection of songbirds in Europe's largest aviary (6,000m2), and in the Tropics (4,000m2) birds from Africa and Asia fly from palms and other exotic plants. There is also a Japanese Garden, Chinese Pan Ying landscape a replica of the Lion Courtyard at the Alhambra in Granada with 148 marble columns, a Tuscan hill complete with medieval villa, many sculptures in marble, natural stone and concrete.........we could go on.
